MY HISTORY

Well, . . . I like to think that I'm too young to have much of a history but, alas - I started working with youth when I was just a teen. I volunteered with Child Evangelism Fellowship helping with Vacation Bible Schools in back yards. I helped watch little ones in a church nursery.

As an adult I had the privelege of teaching religious education (CCD) to a variety of ages and grades.

Most satisfying was helping lead my own daughter and son on their faith journey with my husband by my side.

Since my little ones became big ones I have been able to help with the formation of and eventually leading our Tween Youth Group. They are a great bunch of kids and every week is a new adventure. Our summer Vacation Bible School program brings more excitement.

Recently our parish has started a bilingual Family of Families - Faith Formation program. We are beginning our sixth year of an exciting way to bring all generations together into what Pope Benedict XVI called a "family of families".

In my spare time I teach a daytime adult formation class on various topics within our precious Roman Catholic tradition.

Boy am I excited!
